Scent Store is a service that digitizes and streams scents (hereinafter referred to as “this service”) and is operated by Horizon.
The Smell Token is a digital token used as a payment method and a means of participation within certain aspects of this service.
The Smell Token is issued by ATIT TECH IT SOLUTIONS, a Dubai-based entity. Horizon is not the issuer of Smell Token.
This service primarily supports credit card payments.
Other payment methods, including cryptocurrency payments, may also be available. However, the availability and conditions for using cryptocurrency may vary depending on regional regulations and Horizon’s internal policies.
Smell Token is also used within this service as a marketing tool to encourage usage and enhance the user experience.
Users may receive Smell Token or other cryptocurrencies as rewards based on their usage of this service.
The value of Smell Token and other cryptocurrencies is subject to market fluctuations, and there is a risk that their value may decrease or become zero.
Distribution of rewards is not guaranteed and may be modified or terminated at the sole discretion of Horizon.
Cryptocurrencies, including Smell Token, carry significant price fluctuation risks and are not guaranteed to maintain a fixed value.
Transactions may result in losses, and profits are not guaranteed.
If users exchange or trade Smell Token or other cryptocurrencies on external platforms (e.g., cryptocurrency exchanges), they must carefully review all relevant terms, conditions, and applicable regulations, including those in Japan, and proceed at their own discretion and responsibility.
Horizon does not endorse, recommend, or assume any responsibility for exchanges or transactions conducted on external platforms.
In Japan, the Financial Services Agency (FSA) restricts the use of certain foreign cryptocurrency exchanges.
Japanese users may face limitations when using specific exchanges or related apps, and future regulatory changes may further impact cryptocurrency transactions and usage.
Horizon assumes no responsibility for any losses or disadvantages resulting from regulatory changes.
This service may be changed, suspended, or terminated at Horizon’s discretion without prior notice.
As a result, the usability or value of held cryptocurrencies may be affected.
System failures or maintenance activities may also temporarily or permanently restrict access to cryptocurrencies.
Decisions regarding the acquisition, holding, or trading of cryptocurrencies through this service are the sole responsibility of the user.
Horizon assumes no liability for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from such decisions.
Users are solely responsible for confirming and handling any tax obligations (including income tax, corporate tax, consumption tax, and other applicable taxes) resulting from the use of this service or from acquiring or trading cryptocurrencies.
Horizon does not provide tax advice and assumes no responsibility for tax-related matters.
